Welcome to the Heavens Helpers Home Store!

The Home Store is available by referral and is designed to help individuals and families who are starting over in their own home or apartment. Whether you're moving into a new place, rebuilding after a difficult situation, or simply in need of basic household items, we're here to help.
Shopping at the Home Store is done by referral only. Once a referral has been received, a team member will contact you to schedule a shopping appointment.
Our Home Store is stocked entirely through generous donations from our community. Household items, kitchen essentials, bedding, small furniture, and other home necessities are provided free of charge to help create a comfortable and welcoming home environment.

ABOUT US
Heaven Helpers Closet (701) is a nonprofit ministry operating under the umbrella of Heaven Helpers Soup Cafe. Our mission is to model the compassionate and selfless love of Jesus by serving individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Through the Heaven Helpers Closet and Home Store, we provide free clothing, household goods, and essential home items to those who need them most. Our guests can choose from a wide selection of clean clothing, footwear, bedding, blankets, towels, washcloths, personal care items, dishes, small appliances, home décor, and other household essentials. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to shop with dignity by selecting the items that best fit their family's needs.
The Home Store serves individuals and families who have been referred by one of our partnering organizations. We work closely with local agencies, churches, schools, social service organizations, and other community partners to identify those who may benefit from our services. Shopping at the Home Store is available by referral only. Once a referral has been submitted, our team reviews the request and contacts the referring organization, who will then notify the shopper and provide details about their visit.
Everything available through the Closet and Home Store has been generously donated by members of our community and is provided completely free of charge. We are not a thrift store or retail establishment—our sole purpose is to provide clothing and household essentials at no cost to individuals and families in need throughout our community.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations to Heaven Helpers Closet (701) are tax-deductible. We depend on the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations through financial contributions as well as donations of new and gently used clothing and household items. Your support allows us to continue serving our neighbors with compassion and hope.
We are also grateful for the volunteers who make this ministry possible. We welcome Christ-centered, compassionate individuals to join us in serving shoppers, processing clothing donations, organizing household items, supporting the Home Store, and helping create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest.

Home Store is in need of volunteers
Closet (701) Home relies on volunteers to help serve individuals and families in the Bismarck-Mandan community who are starting over in their own homes. We are grateful for everyone who helps make this ministry possible.
We welcome both individuals and groups who would like to volunteer. Our greatest needs are helping sort donations, assist donors, stock shelves, and organize home essentials such as dishes, bedding, small appliances, home décor, and small furniture. By volunteering, you help provide hope and a fresh start for those in need.
If your group has more than three people, please call Home at 701-595-4049 before signing up so we can prepare for your visit.
We kindly ask that volunteers schedule a separate time to donate household items. This helps keep daily operations running smoothly.
