ABOUT US
Heaven Helpers Closet (701) is a non-profit ministry that operates under the umbrella of Heaven Helpers Soup Cafe. Our team is dedicated to modeling the compassionate and selfless way that Jesus lived by serving individuals and families who are struggling to meet their basic needs.
Our mission is to provide free clothing to those who need it most. We offer a wide selection of clean clothing, including bedding, blankets, and personal care items such as towels, washcloths, shampoo, soap, as well as footwear. Our priority is to offer our guests a dignified shopping experience where they can select the items that they need.
We are neither a thrift store nor a retail establishment. Our focus is on providing free clothing to those in need in our community. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, all donations to Heaven Helpers Closet (701) are tax-deductible. We rely on the generosity of our community to provide monetary donations and clothing items to help us continue our mission. We are always looking for volunteers who share our mission and values. We welcome Christ-loving, kind-hearted individuals to join us in helping shoppers and processing clothing donations. Please visit our Volunteer page to sign up and share your time with us.

Who Clothed You?
Are you curious where the clothes you’ve been given come from?
Are you intrigued by the idea that the clothes you now possess were free?
What if I told you that God inspired the people who handed you your clothes. God told them to serve you. God instructed them to help you, and God, through His never-ending grace, called them to clothe you.
God desires to clothe us in forgiveness. He longs to cover the wrong-doings and sin in all of our lives. You can take assurance that no one, in this lifetime, is free from the struggles of sin. No one. Not even those whose lives look completely “put together.” The Bible tells us “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) God sent his son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for your sin. His response to your sin was the cross.
Believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus, not only erases sin, but puts a new clothing upon your life.
At Closet (701), we believe God allowed us to give you the garments in your bag today. God desires to clothe you in forgiveness. The only question is, will you let Him do it? If your answer is “YES,” and you’ve never asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and be LORD of your life, then your next step is clear. Ask Him.
